A Wonderful Time of Year

Warning: long post.

My favorite pic from Christmas. My sweet little JB. I love this munchkin so much my heart hurts. The babies make Christmas so special. It's just not the same without little ones around.

Christmas was so lovely this year. The whole family was together and that's rare these days.

Christmas Eve we all got together for dinner and games.

We ate lots of yummy food.

And two Pioneer Woman recipes for stuffed mushrooms, delish!

Levi likes lasagna...

After dinner we talked, played games and tried to tame EJ's hair. Not sure what Caleb is thinking here...

It's impossible for Zachary to take a normal picture.

Or Levi for that matter :-)

He is a joiner

Jayne usually has this look on her face when with us...

We are a bit overwhelming but lucky we have two lovely sister/daughter-in-laws to calm us down!

Sweet LH

He loves his papa.

Loves him so much he kisses his feet...we are getting him help.

Bunny was wiped out, the kids exhaust her.

The kiddos watching The Grinch.

The night was winding down and the kids were getting really sleepy, or turning into zombies, not sure which.

Do you notice that both the boys have drool on their chins?

The next morning LH was up and ready to get to the presents. He loved his stocking and was nice enough to share with Bunny.

We are still working on peeling the orange before eating it...

I hope that you all had wonderful Christmases full of family, fun, food and love. And I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Reading Challenge!

I came across this challenge over at Library of Clean Reads (and she got it from At Home With Books) and decided to join in. Feel free to play along!

The rules:
Decide how many time travel books you want to read and then read them before the end of 2010 - that's it!

I am going to read the same three that Laura has listed as i love her recommendations, but i will be adding some to it so check back if you want ideas.

1. The Time Travelers: Book One in the Gideon Trilogy by Linda Buckley-Archer
2. The Forgery of Venus by Michael Gruber
3. A Handful of Time by Kit Pearson

Let me know if you find any great Time Travel books i should add and Good Luck!

This was the Jeep Sunday morning. I was really nervous about the weight on the soft top...but obviously not worried enough to not stop and take a picture before cleaning it off.

I'm a slacker.

It's been busy lately. No excuse, I know.

Here is a quick update.

This was taken 5 minutes ago. I love the snow!

This is my Christmas tree. My apartment is WAY too small for a real tree so I found a rosemary Christmas tree. It's basically a rosemary bush shaped like a pine tree :-) but it smells awesome.

This is Two Face. A sweet baby kitty that was dumped up by my parents house. We had to take her to the shelter the next day, couldn't find anyone who could take her. On reflection it was a mistake to let her sleep with me. It was really hard to let her go.

Hope you are all having a marvelous Christmas season!
